We believe in the power of prayer to bring breakthrough into our daily lives, and in particular into our current circumstances. Will you therefore commit to praying daily that God will bringing healing to many suffering at this time, that He will give incredible wisdom to those scientists working to find a vaccine, to give thanks for the many key workers who are risking their own lives to care for the most vulnerable and that all of those who trust in the resurrected Lord Jesus will bring hope into our communities.
We would love you to consider committing every day, maybe at the same time, for just 30 minutes to come before God in prayer for our world.
Resources for Prayer
Sometimes when we see devastating news on our screens we find it difficult to know what to pray. Therefore to help articulate what might be in your thoughts, Nick Fawcett a writer and Baptist minister from Essex has written a book of prayers called ‘For such a time as this’. It’s a free e-book and it’s downloadable from Nick Fawcett’s website. Just register your email address.
The Church of England have also provided some helpful resources including a Morning & Evening Prayer, recognising the need for God’s people to come to him with our fears and concerns.
24-7 Prayer, founded by Pete Greig has provided useful resources for prayer, including materials suitable for all the family to engage with. Click below to find out more.
