The United Parish of Ballynure and Ballyeaston (Ballyclare) is a vibrant and growing congregation with two churches; Christ Church in Ballynure and St. John’s in Ballyclare. The Parish spans across an area of both rural and urban communities, each with unique ministry needs, with a current congregation of 300 families. As a church community we offer many opportunities for people to know more about Jesus and grow in their understanding of him. As a community church our facilities are also widely used by many.
Therefore the Administrator function is a key element of our ministry team, and the role offers a wide variety of tasks with regular interaction with people both in the church family and in the community. Working closely with the lead minister, the Administrator provides a vital role in supporting the daily witness of God’s Church.

Christ Church is a welcoming church in the greater Newtownabbey area which appreciates a breadth of church music from traditional to more contemporary. It is the smaller of 2 parish churches which make up the United Parish.
We are seeking to recruit a gifted Director and Organist who can help to develop the worship life of this Church, working closely with our Rector Rev Jonny Campbell-Smyth.
