Our AGM this year will be held on Wednesday 14th October at 7.30pm in St John’s halls. For the purposes of ensuring we adhere to all regulations and social distancing, it is necessary to register your intention to attend.
This year our meeting will be very brief due to the guidance on gatherings. However the meeting is very important as it is a Triennium year in the life of the Church of Ireland. This means that we must elect not only Select Vestry members, but also parochial nominators and Diocesan Synod Representatives.
From this year onwards, the Rector, as Chair of the Select Vestry has asked that all members of the new Select Vestry will also be required to sit on a Sub-Committee. These will meet between each Select Vestry meeting to work through actions raised at the main meeting. This then will make the running of the Select Vestry more efficient.
